Built a strong foundation for long-term financial inclusion in India
Scope
Impact & Importance : Financial literacy from a young age is critical in building responsible citizens who can make informed money decisions. By integrating these learnings early, AMFI ensured students gain awareness about saving, investing, and the role of mutual funds in wealth creation—bridging the knowledge gap that often exists in Indian households.
The Initiative : The campaign was rolled out in 3,000 schools across Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab, and Haryana. Designed to be interactive and age-appropriate, the sessions aimed at demystifying financial concepts for schoolchildren, laying the foundation for smart savings and responsible financial planning.
